Half Price Store sells Amazon customer returns, retailer overstock and open-box goods across Canada. Every item is a single unit, photographed and graded by hand, and listed at a price that reflects exactly what is wrong with it — which is usually an opened box and nothing else.
The catalogue runs from factory-sealed stock to units missing a remote. What follows is the whole of it, sorted the way it is actually worth browsing: by condition, by department, and by budget.
Start with the condition
Grading is the part most liquidation sellers keep vague. Ours is a fixed ladder, the same on every product page, and the grade is stated before anything else in the description.
New
Factory sealed, never opened. Overstock and cancelled orders — the box has simply never been to a customer.
Like New / Open Box
Opened, complete, and nothing found at inspection. The most common grade here, and the reason most people come back.
Used – Good
Genuinely used, working, with light marks named in the description. Photographed as it is.
Used – Fair
Heavier cosmetic wear, function unaffected. Every mark is described and shown.
Incomplete
Works perfectly; a part is absent. A remote, a tray, an accessory. What is missing is listed on the page under Not included, so nothing is a surprise.
As-Is
Something is cracked, damaged or does not work — described and photographed. The deepest discounts in the store, for repairs, parts, or when the fault does not matter to you.
Incomplete is not faulty. An incomplete item works; it is only missing a piece. That distinction is why it keeps the same functional guarantee as everything else, and why it is priced above the As-Is shelf rather than dumped into it.

How a returned item becomes a listing
- It is inspected and tested before it is listed. Not spot-checked by pallet — each unit, one at a time. That is why there is one photograph set per item rather than a stock image.
- It is graded against the ladder above, and the grade goes in three places: the first line of the description, the condition panel beside it, and the collection it appears in. If those three ever disagree, treat it as our error and tell us.
- What is missing is written down. Missing accessories, absent manuals, no original packaging — these appear under Not included, not buried in a spec table.
- Every item is guaranteed 100% functional, whatever its condition grade. The one exception is the As-Is shelf and anything the description marks as untested, which is sold exactly as described.
- We never claim the absence of wear. You will not read “no scratches” or “pristine” here. Either a mark is named, or the photographs are left to carry it.
- No warranty is offered on any item, and none is implied. What you get instead is the functional guarantee above and a 30-day return window.

- 30 days to return or exchange, for any reason, provided the item comes back as it left.
- Arrived faulty or not as described? Contact us within 7 days with a photo and we send a prepaid return label, then refund in full or replace it — your choice.
- Free shipping in Ontario over $150, and Canada-wide over $200. Flat rate below that.
- Free local pickup in Etobicoke, ON — and returns can be dropped off there too.
